What better start to the festival than an evening of ‘songs from the shows’. Enjoy the exciting, lively and romantic tunes they don’t write any more including highlights from the most popular Gilbert & Sullivan operettas.

CHILDREN’S SPECIAL: PETER & THE WOLF

Specially for a younger audience (recommended age five and over) Peter and the Wolf, this ever-popular musical fairy tale for children will be performed by orchestra, narrator and dancers. And a rare chance to hear the lively, rhythmic and pulsating sounds of our youth band and singers.

"VOCAL CHORDS" – create a one-off choir from scratch

Itching to sing? Come and build a choir from scratch in just three hours with Chris Rowbury of Woven Chords! A MUSICAL BANQUET IS SERVED

Scrumptious harmony singing from all corners of the globe by Woven Chords with special guests Vocal Chords, a choir prepared from fresh singers that very morning! Liberally sprinkled with performances from young talented instrumentalists and dancers. Topped off with a fine display of singing from the audience itself!
